ReciNote is designed for handwritten recipe cards, cookbook pages and printed recipes. A clear, evenly lit image with the full recipe visible produces the best extraction.

Yes. You can edit the recipe title, ingredients and instructions after extraction so the saved version matches the source and the way you cook.

ReciNote keeps the extracted original ingredients and instructions and provides a separate English version. You can switch between both versions in the recipe detail view.

Your saved recipe book is stored locally on your device. ReciNote does not require an account or cloud sync.

Only the image you deliberately select is sent to ReciNote's Google Cloud-hosted backend and then to OpenAI for moderation, recipe extraction and translation. Other photos in your library are not uploaded by ReciNote. The structured recipe result is stored by the backend under a random receipt ID; see the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.

Tap Plan in PantryWeek on a saved recipe, or open ReciNote from PantryWeek and choose a recipe. ReciNote passes the recipe name and ingredients to PantryWeek, where you confirm the import.

Camera access lets you photograph a recipe. Photo-library access lets you choose an existing recipe image. Access is requested only when you use the relevant capture option and can be changed in iOS Settings.

You can successfully extract one recipe every seven days for free. Failed extractions do not consume the allowance. ReciNote Pro provides unlimited recipe extraction subject to reasonable use; saved recipes remain available if you do not subscribe or cancel.
