Your data
stays yours.
No ads, analytics, tracking, developer accounts, or third-party dependencies. Your journal stays local unless you choose Apple iCloud sync or explicit sharing.
Data and purposes
Journal text, dates, places, companions, sightings, conditions, photos, attachments, albums, and sharing identifiers are stored locally to provide the app. If you use private iCloud sync or sharing, this content is processed by Apple CloudKit. A selected place and date may be sent to Apple Maps and WeatherKit to retrieve contextual conditions. Apple processes subscription transactions through StoreKit.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell data, track you, or use advertising or analytics SDKs. Apple provides CloudKit, Maps, WeatherKit, and StoreKit under Apple's privacy protections. Other people receive content only when you explicitly invite them to a CloudKit share. Imports and exports occur only when you request them.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. Private CloudKit records remain in your iCloud account until deleted. You can delete entries and albums, stop a share, remove participants, leave a share, or contact us for privacy assistance. Deletions are synchronized to CloudKit when service is available.
